Podzemna strojnica Moste je do globine 20 m vkopana v prekonsolidirano, s tektonskimi drsami prepre-ženo terciarno lapornato glino. Kmalu po izgradnji v letu 1952 so se v nearmiranih betonskih zidovih pojavile razpoke. V članku so prikazani in tolmačeni rezultati dolgoletnih meritev premikov. Geotehnične analize nagibajo avtorja k mnenju, da gre za kombinacijo učinka nabrekalnih tlakov ob pobočnih kontaktih s sivico poltrdne konsistence od globine 4,50 m navzdol in, nad to globino, učinka pritiska lezenja pobočja, ki vsebuje, blizu površja, trmo plastično glino. — Nedavno so razpokane betonske zidove povezali s prednapetimi jeklenimi vezmi, da bi vsaj deloma vzpostavili monolitno odpornost konstrukcije.

EARTH PRESSURES ON THE UNDERGROUND POWER STATION MOSTE
The about 20 m deep excavation for the underground power station Moste has been made in a preconsolidated, stiff fissured Tertiary marly clay. Soon after the end of construction in 1952 fissures appeared in the non-reinforced concrete walls. In the paper the results of long-term measurements od displacements have been presented and interpreted. On the basis df geotechnical analyses the author is inclined towards the reasoning that the displacements are due to the combined effect of swelling pressures of the clay of semisolid consistency below the depth of 4,50 m, and, above this depth, of creep pressures of the slope containing, near to the surface, stiff plastic clay. — Recently, the fissured walls were reinforced by prestressed steel anchors in order to restore, at least partly, the monolithic resistance of the construction.
