Članek najprej podrobno navaja pozitivne rezultate, dosežene v stanovanjski graditvi v SR Sloveniji zlasti v lanskem letu. Za leto 1973 je postavljen program: zgraditi v družbenem in zasebnem sektorju 11.000 stanovanj. Članek podaja podroben pregled finančnih možnosti in sredstev, kakor tudi možnosti gradbeništva za izvršitev postavljene naloge. Analizira vse fakorje, ki stanovanjsko gradnjo lahko pospešujejo, ali pa tudi ovirajo. Poudarja kot naloge posebnega pomena: osrednja strokovna organizacija vseh sodelujočih faktorjev, rešitev problema financiranja opremljanja zemljišč, orientacija na družbeno usmerjeno gradnjo v nasprotju do sedanje skoraj izključne gradnje za trg, dogovor o družbenem standardu pri stanovanjih, petletni program stanovanjske graditve, projektiranje velikih sosesk, poenostavitev postopkov za začetek gradnje.

The paper treats in detail the positive results, obtained in SR Slovenia in the field of dwelling’s construction especially in the last year. For the year 1973 we have the purpose to build in the common and private sector 11000 dwellings. The author gives the plan of financial means and possibilities, as well as the capacities of building industry. He analyses all component parts which can accelerate or retard the dwelling’s building. The paper accents the following tasks: the central professional organization of all important factors, the solving of financial problem for building places preparation, the common directed construction in oposition to the today’s commercial construction, the common agreement for the dwelling norms, the five years programme for the building construction, the planning of main dwelling communities, the normalisation of proceeding for building construction.
