Significance of radioactive isotopes in building structures

The paper is concerned in the first part with the theoretical bases for the backscattering of - y rays, as the idea for the measurements of the density of soil or concrete, as well as with the slowing down of fast neutrons for measurements of the moisture concent of soil or concrete.
In the second part of this treatise the results of practical measurements of the soil and in concrete pla-

te of the watter channel for hydroelectric power plant Srednja Drava 1 are given.
The authors pointed out the significance of the radioactive methods for the statistics of the evaluation respectively of the quality control of the soil or concrete. ' ’!
Sinopsis
