Summary

The article describes the programatic basis for the design of block of flats that is built with half prefabricated units, but with large front sandwich reinforced concrete units. Previous physical and technical researches, as well as later investigations of already accomplished buildings are described. The next chapter deals with the separate unit production and building, respectively with mounting of prefabricated units.

Defects, coming out during the building, are spoken of in the next chapter together with proposals for necessary repair works.

Satisfactory mounting of prefabricated units requires the building works in the following order: due town planning designs and projects, necessary work arrangements, previously undertaken communal public works, construction of buildings and arrangement of settlement. The disposition of building plan should give the contractor the possibility of carrying out the building works in the same region through a period of some years at least.
