AKTUALNA URBANISTIČNA PROBLEMATIKA MESTA MARIBOR

Avtor navaja podatke, iz katerih je razvidno, da je mesto Maribor v urbanističnem pogledu že preraslo stopnjo razvoja, predvideno po urbanističnem programu Maribora iz leta 1967. Zdaj je treba proučiti nadaljnje možnosti razvoja za naslednjih 30 let s planiranim povečanjem prebivalstva od 158.000 na 225.000. Skupščina občine Maribor je naročila pri Zavodu za urbanizem no-velacijo urbanističnega načrta mesta do leta 2000.

ACTUAL URBANISTIC PROBLEMS OF MARIBOR TOWN

The author gives the numerical data which show that the town of Maribor has increased the development stage, planned in the urbanistic programme of the year 1967. Now it is necessary to study the possibilities of development for the future 30 years and for the increasing of town inhabitants from 180.000 to 225.000. The Community of Maribor gave the order to the Institute for urbanism at Maribor to novelate the urbanistic plan to the year 2000.
